Borellas or Snagglemouths were large dugong-like creatures found in the lakes of the western Deepwoods that appeared in Weird New Worlds. They were among the most intelligent species in the Edgeworld, supposedly more so than even banderbears, and communicated through a complex language. Physically, Borellas were colossal creatures, several strides long, with three curving tusks protruding from their wide mouths.
Hedgethorn Lammergyre referred to these creatures as "snagglemouths".
Role in the Cade Saga[]
In the Cade Saga, instead of borellas, there are snagtooth in Farrow Lake.
