Fenebrule was a waif who accompanied Nate and the Professor on their ill-fated descent down the face of the edge. Within the first few pages he suffered an untimely demise, his waif senses were unable to handle the mental assault of a glister swarm. He threw himself off of the cliff face and down, off the edge. Soon followed by his grey goblin companion; Teep.^[1]
