Friston Drew was the partner of Gremlop and the owner of the Gremlop and Drew stiltshop in Copperwood. He was also the father of Branxford Drew and gave his son whatever he wanted, albeit reluctantly.
When Nate Quarter walked into his shop asking about the job he had available, Friston took to him immediately after he fixed a lamp. He later decided to give his shop to Nate instead of Branxford. Branxford overheard his conversation with Nate and rigged a Phraxlamp to blow up the entire stiltshop, killing Friston and framing Nate for the murder.
