Hanging-baskets were large baskets on the ends of ropes, used as elevators. During the First Age of Flight, they were used as transport between Undertown and Sanctaphrax, travelling from the East Landing to Artisans' Quarter[1]. During the Second Age, following the rise of the Guardians of Night, hanging-baskets served as transport between the Tower of Night and the Slave Trail.
