Marshal Heg-Tugg and old Wooden-Leg[1], was a flat-head goblin who served as the High Commander of the Freeglade Lancers during the events of The Blooding of Rufus Filatine in the Second Age of Flight. He was described as being elderly, with a wooden leg and heavily worn armour.[1]

Following the Skirmish at Wooded Crag, Marshal Heg-Tugg was summoned by the High Master of Lake Landing, Xanth Filatine. They met at the Academy's Great Lecture Theatre and discussed the deceased Nameless One eliminated by his soldiers.[1]
Xanth and Heg-Tugg determined that the Nameless One was from the Nightwoods, had been abused and enslaved, had been used to haul something heavy, had phraxdust under its fingernails, and had laboured at the Foundry Glades.[1]
They were in the middle of talking about the likely resurrection of the Foundry Glades when Lance-Cadet Rufus Filatine arrived to speak with his father. Marshal Heg-Tugg commended Rufus on his role in the Skirmish and sent him on a mission to the Foundry Glades with Tam Whytewinter.[1]
