The League of Stokers and Smelters was a division of the Leagues of Undertown that competed with the League of Furnace Tenders. In 3 ᴇ.ʏ., the League of Stokers and Smelters attempted to use a sky ship it owned to transport a cargo of woodtroll slaves to its sewer workshops to be worked to death, which would enable it to undercut its rival’s prices, but this plan was foiled by Wind Jackal and the crew of the Galerider on behalf of the League of Furnace Tenders.[1]
