Threnodesse, a yellow-eared waif

Yellow-eared waifs were a rare variety of waif found in the Nightwoods. Like all waifs, they possessed the ability to communicate silently via telepathy. They were similar in appearance to ghostwaifs, which had pale, mottled skin and, like greywaifs and copperwaifs, had four long, ringed barbels protruding from around their mouths. As their name suggests, their defining feature was the yellowish skin of their ears.
